Jack Welge is a 35 year perfect attendance Rotarian and former President of the Longview Rotary Club.   He and his wife, Ava, reside in Longview, Texas,  where he has practiced law for 37 years.  Jack and Ava hangar their Cessna 182 in Gilmer, Texas, on the same field as the Flight of the Phoenix Air Museum.

Jack and Ava have two adult daughters and one juvenile Border Collie.  Jack is the Past Chair of the Aviation Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
