Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Homecoming
Saturday, October 4, 2014

Join Tom Johnston and Richard Cody at the 75th Anniversary Homecoming of the AOPA at their headquarters. There is no cost for the event. Attendees may drive or fly- in. Events begin at 8:30 AM and end at 4:00 PM. Those wishing to make a weekend of their visit may find motel suggestions at the AOPA event website.

IFFR will have display booth #79 for meeting and greeting one another and reaching out to other Rotarians to join our fellowship. Plan to stop by the booth when you arrive!

The Basics:
When: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2014
Where: Frederick Airport (FDK), 421 Aviation Way, Frederick, MD 21707
What: The events of the day include exhibits, static displays, seminars, demos, safety briefings, free lunch for AOPA members, meeting and eating with IFFR members, air demonstrations, and a pilot town hall with Mark Baker, AOPA President.
Getting there: GA procedures for arrival and departure will be available ten days prior to the event. They may be found on the AOPA event website for this homecoming or from the Flight Service Station.
For those driving to the airfield, follow the signs for AOPA parking.

Registration:

1. RSVP to AOPA that you are coming on their web site (no charge): https://www.aopa.org/Community-and-events/AOPA-Fly-Ins/Frederick
