2014 Rotary Charity Airshow

Tuesday - Thursday, August 26 – 28: Brantford, Ontario (CYFD):
Rotary Charity Airshow and Canadian Air Museum

Lisa Bishop is hosting a Canadian Fly-in to Brantford, Ontario (an airport of entry) where the local Rotary Club sponsors a great Charity Airshow on Wednesday afternoon (see:  www.brantfordairshow.ca).  This airshow includes exhibits, clinics, education and safety seminars, and aircraft displays together with performance of the Canadian Air Forces Skyhawks and legendary Snowbirds. The previous evening at the airport is a gala banquet that is not to me missed.  To view a video from last year’s Air Show, see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb8ZUYq6EOM&sns=em

Thursday morning we shall have an opportunity to have a private tour of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at the nearby Hamilton Airport (CYHM). The Museum features military aircraft from World War II to the present and is Canada’s largest (see http://www.warplane.ca).

Members who have not flown recently to Canada will be offered help to get a Can Pass and a US Customs registration number, and to file the APIS report.
