IFFR's Commitment to Aviation Service in the Americas
IFFR's Mission Statement
The International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians (IFFR) promotes aviation as a golden opportunity for
fellowship and service. While aligning with Rotary International policy, it retains autonomy and isn't an
extension of Rotary International.
The Journey Since 1965
Unwavering Fellowship: Since our inception in 1965, we've been fortunate to interact with fellow
Rotarians worldwide who share a fervent love for aviation. Through countless gatherings across countries,
we've fostered deep bonds and lifelong friendships.
Unique Service Proposition: IFFR's distinctiveness stems not only from its foundation of fellowship
but also from its unparalleled service. Globally, our members embody Rotary’s “Service Above Self” motto
uniquely. As aviators, they extend their expertise by collaborating with volunteer pilot organizations and
engaging in public benefit flying.
Changing Lives in the Americas: It's undeniable that Rotarians have transformed many lives, especially in the Americas. Highlighting this:
IFFR & The Air Care Alliance (ACA) Partnership
A few years back, IFFR became an esteemed
partner of ACA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to backing the endeavors of volunteer-based charitable
organizations. The ACA champions the cause of public benefit flying through:
Fostered communication among public benefit flight organizations.
Representation of over 50 volunteer pilot organizations.
Encouragement of volunteerism in the aviation community.
Ensuring that charitable aviation remains accessible for the needful.

Collaboration in 2023: Amplifying the Message
In March 2023, a fruitful collaboration between IFFR and ACA gave birth to a compelling presentation. Aimed at Rotary Clubs and similar organizations, this presentation
Promotes the availability of free air transportation for various non-emergency needs.
Highlights the myriad opportunities awaiting aviation enthusiasts, Rotarian and non-Rotarian pilots, and the general public to liaise with IFFR and other aviation bodies in their vicinity.
Join the Movement: Opportunities Await!
The positive reception of our presentation across the nation proves its potential. But there's more work to
do, and YOU can be a part of it:
Host a Presentation: Arrange for this enlightening presentation at your club.
Step Up as a Presenter: Take the reins and volunteer to be a voice for this cause.
